Purpose

Our School Association aims to assist in making Bellerive Primary School the best possible place for all our children to learn and develop.  We recognise that the teachers and support staff cannot do their jobs in isolation – they, and all the students who attend Bellerive Primary School, need the support and involvement of all parents and the wider community.

Role

Our School Association works closely with our school setting and reviewing the direction and policies for the school, and in raising funds and determining the best way to use these funds to improve student learning and development. This includes assisting in the purchase of much-needed learning resources and equipment, new books for the library, and the development of our new kitchen/garden project "The Welcome Garden" in 2025/2026.

Getting Involved

All staff and families of children enrolled at Bellerive Primary School are automatically members of the School Association, and are actively encouraged to get involved in the work of the School Association for the benefit of all students at the school. Participation can include:

  • contributing ideas and input on school policies, plans and other issues being considered by the Committee;
  • participating in fund-raising activities;
  • suggesting priorities for funding; and
  • being a member of the Committee.

All assistance is welcome and greatly appreciated!

The Association Committee holds monthly meetings, and all parents are very welcome to attend and participate.
